I guess he will miss at least one of the games against the Pats.

It is 8 games because it is his second positive test, the first one was more than ten years ago (ouch). Puts the Phins in a bind.

Ferguson is a free agent. The Phins weren't going to re-sign him anyway. He's 35 and said last season he'd probably retire:

I find it funny that he and the reporter assume the slate gets wiped clean after a certain period of time...like that is an excuse for taking the stuff in the first place

From what I'm reading it was assumed he would be back, depending on him...before this suspension happened.

From everything I've read there was no way he was coming back even before the suspension.

Well, we now know why Ryan Tucker retired. I expect Ferguson to follow suit.
