'Zona had to make this trade and I think they ripped off the Jets. He had a down year but he's still a young, productive safety, and when he's focused he's one of the best in the game. It's not like the Jets got a 2nd rounder or anything. I just hope it doesn't mean that Sharper or Otagwe are on their way to New York.

you can say that about any GM in this league with some longevity. derrelle revis, mangold, ferguson, sanchez, david harris, shonne greene. hes picked up some real good players

SHarper or Otogwe are probably heading the jets way. Their defense is going to be really good. Their the far superior team, but Brady is soo much better than Sanchez, I still take the Pats.

If Brady were on the Jets, they'd probably go 14-2.

I think Rhodes is a decent player myself, and he's a definite upgrade for the Cards over Rolle.

And what was it, a 4th and a 7th? He's better than anything they'd have got in the Draft at that point. They needed a FS, and have essentially just spent a 4th round pick taking a proven player.

It's hardly in the Randy Moss bracket of 4th round bargains, but it's not bad IMO.

They'd need to lose a player in FA (which I don't think they have), and even then whoever they signed could only sign a contract similar to the one of the player they lost.

The Jets can't sign either because of the Top 8 Team Restrictions. Unless they LOSE someone of the same monetary value.
