I gotta say Edelman.
I believe he will be a elite reciever in the NFL.

Elite?

He'll be good for what we need him to be, possession receiver to mid-range level throws. There are only a few elite receivers in the NFL, and I have a hard time thinking we'll be seeing Edelman among the Larry Fitgeralds, Andre Johnsons, Reggie Waynes, etc.

I'll be happy if he's as good as Austin Collie.

Our big German friend... Mr. Light better start looking for a new job!

WHAT??
edelman only played two games with good playing time, with Houston and Baltimore, he had a plus 100 yard game and a 2 td performance.
He is already better than Collie, he will be better then Wes.

Butler deserves some consideration for third place but Vollmer is the clear winner.

I was stuck between Edelman or Vollmer.

But I went for Edelman due to his draft position and how he has had to learn a new position.

But Vollmer is bloody good

Don't forget about Ingram.

By a very long shot.. Vollmer.

Vollmer by a mile

I never got nervous when he was on the feild and i preferred him at left tackle over light. That says alot.

I voted for Ingram. He snapped the ball 138 times without a miscue. The Patriots did not miss Lonie Paxton at all. Ingram deserves some recognition for doing a good job.

I'll go with Vollmer. Considering that Edelman was a 7th Round QB playing a completely new position, I think Vollmer has a chance to be a Top 5 Tackle in this league.

Vollmer
It was clear to me in PS that he had some serious talent, and when he got his chance he sure as hell didn't disappoint.
Edelman was awesome too, and I'm hopeful that he can stay healthy and gain more experience.
I'm not sure why he's going to be "better" than Wes , but I'll leave that to the rejects to sort out.

Edelman is my vote. Solid contributer despite being hurt and has been our best rookie pass catcher since Branch. Vollmer was alright in his stint as a starting LT and RT and, don't get me wrong, will be very good one day. However, this season he needed help from tight ends and wide receivers a little too much for me to vote him "best rookie". He would be my runner-up though.

Has to be Vollmer for me. Guy looked more than comfortable when he stepped in for Light, against some very good Defensive Ends.

Don't get me wrong Edelman was great especially considering his draft position and the fact he was a QB but we may have drafted a stud LT in the second round.

i don't know about elite. welkers name is not even bring up when peopel talk about elite. WR in the NFL

elite means geting 90+ catchs 1200+ yerds and 10+ TD's every year. pretty much randy moss, im not sure he will ever be that good. but i am with you in thinking he will become a good WR and at worst a realy good #3

So you don't consider WW elite then? I ask seeing as you didn't mention his name.

I'd have exactly the same view as this.
