What is ticking you off more right now???

All of the sudden the jets are this powerhouse team... BARF..... please.. The jets have no QB, and if we would have showed up last week we might have to wait and see. but now the jets are playing , and now i have to root for indy.. why football gods why!!!!!!!!

Perhaps this means that you don't need a HOF quarterback to win football games. We didn't have one last year and did roughly as well as we did this year.

The jets in afc title game, or that we did not show up last week and face a Norv Turner and the Chargers who cant win in the playoffs.... And will never go to the super bowl under Norv.. Right now Im more ticked we did not show up, and I hope Bill Belichick is ticked like he was against Indy in 06 when we should have won.... I am super ticked right now, damn you AD for ruining the locker room... We are 100 times better than the jets... Im more sick about us not showing up against the ravens...

I lived in Manhattan for 15 years before I ever rooted for the Patriots. Jets winning doesn't bother me, at least not more than anybody else non-Patriot winning does.

Pats losing their mental and/or physical toughness does.

Well that one is easy. Not showing up is the greatest sin there is in Sports. Especially since I was always convinced, that we are built to beat Indy and SD is built to beat itself.

As for the AFCCG its pest vs. cholera now, but I would rather be giving the jets the Bragging rights for one year instead of adding more fuel to the question if the Colts where the better team over the decade.

Seeing Shonn Green, Adrian Peterson, Ray Rice or whoever, running like a back is supposed to run, while we get to see Maroney on the bench.

the three RB's you just talked about have the 3 best O lines in the NFL

the pats have the worst run blocking O line in the NFL.

maroney averaged 84 yerds in games that he had 20 or more att. if they gave him the ball 20 times a game for a full season he would of had 1300 yerds. Adrian Peterson, had 1,383 yerds and 18. TD's this year. thats twice. as many yerds and TD's as maroney, but he all so had twice. as many att as maroney did. im not saying he is as good as Adrian Peterson, but he can't get yerds with out the ball. if they feel that maroney is not the guy then they need to bring in some one that can get it done.

the pats 3 RB system sucks it works for the cowboys cause each back. they bring in is biger and faster then the next. with the pats each back they bring in is older and slower then the next

This year's team was an embarrassment and I was glad to get it over. 4 blown leads in the second half ? The only road wins were in Buffalo and England ? Then starting the playoffs allowing an 83 yard run up the middle ?

I don't care if the Chargers are chockers, the '09 Patriots wouldn't have beaten them.

Damn right. People need to get over the 2009 Patriots. There is no way this team would have won in San Diego.

This team lacks heart, plain and simple. The Jets have it. Indy has it. Farve has it. The saints have it. The Pats lack it. Rodney took things as a challenge to him personally, as a man. I think you could call the Pats defense a bunch of girls and nobody on that side would stand up and say anything. This is a team that needs to learn the phrase "man up!"

Nobody gave the Jest a chance yesterday to win and looked what happened...

You're absolutely right. I want to see a back SO GOOD, that they HAVE to give him the ball and commit to the run, not just use him to keep the defense honest. I want them to have a running game that's BETTER than the passing game. It's the only way to keep Brady off the injured list.

The only TOUGH GUY left on that defense is Wilfork, and he can't do it all by himself.

The others play like they expect to lose.

What's ticking me off is, as others have said, this team underachieved.

What's annoying me is the stupidity bar keeps getting raised around here.

This is what's ticking me off most:

Here are my top 5 most hated teams

1. Colts
2. Any team with Brett Favre on it.
3. Jets
4. Steelers
5. Chargers (I actually had to root for the Chargers yesterday by default . . *shudders* Sad)

2005 Steelers won the Superbowl
2006 Colts won the Super
2007 Giants won the Superbowl and ruined our perfect season
2008 Steelers won the Superbowl

2009 Now we have:

The Colts
The Favres
The Jets
The Saints

It looks like this will be another kick in the crotch season for ol' InRodWeRust. As if the offseason isn't bad enough this just adds salt to the wound. It looks like the odds are against them but I'm going to be the biggest Saints fan the next few weeks.

I'm actually not ticked off anymore, just mildly amused. I can't believe those !@#@! Jets are in the AFC Championship game! What kind of parallel universe is this?

What ticks me off is how bad the Pats played against a crappy Ravens team, and how Indy looked vulnerable, and San Diego just looked bad, and if we had played halfway decent, we'd probably be hosting the AFC Championship game right now. What a wasted opportunity. Luckily there's next year to get it all straightened out.

Besides the Pats bowing out early? Nothing much is bothering me.......

The Saints have been my team to go all the way for a long while now.

Is there is a NFL franchise that deserves some good fortune more than the Saints? Methinks not!

Go Who Dat Nation! Go!

The Jets are hot right now, that's a given...

But to say they are easily a better team is just stupid.

The ONLY reason they are even in the playoffs right now is because their last 2 opponents in the regular season laid down for them.

They really don't even deserve to be there...Yeah ok, they had to win the games and they did, but let's be real here.

Sorry but the Jets were better this year.

100 times better on defense

Much better running game
better special teams
more passion and intensity

I do not think the Patriots would have beat the Chargers today

If they are so good, then why did they need other teams to "lay down" so that they could get in the play-offs?

Just because a team has a good D doesn't necessarily mean that they are a great team.

This team was all but out of it and then all the stars aligned and every team that needed to lose to help them, did. And then the next to games had their opponents laying down and resting players and such giving them a free pass into the play-offs. This team did not earn their way into the play-offs. But that's the NFL, that's the system and this time it really sucked!

Now I will give them that they are playing well in the play-offs but their opponents are also choking big time.

Also, the Colts deserve to get beat by the Jets just to show them that this is what happens when you lay down and let a team in.

What's ticking me off most is that since the Patriots' last Super Bowl title, Pittsburgh (twice), Indy, and New York have celebrated titles of their own, with a decent chance of that trend continuing.

Amen brother, you need to post more often.

I think it's funny as hell that Rex "it's too bad, we're obviously out of the playoffs" Ryan and the goofball Sanchez are riding into the AFCCG--they're lovable in a kind of Bad News Bears way, (except that they have the best defense in the league). You have to give Ryan and that organization credit for putting the pieces together.

Never been a Jets hater and them beating the Colts--the F'in Jests for Chrissakes!--would be the most beautiful thing that could happen now in an otherwise pitiful season. "Business as usual in Foxborough" has finally caught up with us. It is time for a MAJOR retooling of this team and MAJOR soul-searching by BB and it's going to take much longer than one off-season to get it back on track.

Oh, and it was pure joy to see the Chargers choke again and Ldt hide behind the visor one last time in his career--buh bye little guy.

Saints.....please win the SB!!!!

I think our play against Baltimore p1ssed me off the most. What was Flacco 4 for 10, man I am sorry but that was pathetic. We are a better team than that aren't we?

Baltimore said we are going to run the ball, continue to run the ball and you can't stop it, all game long.

I nearly pulled my TV off the wall.

Ridiculous....

Losing to the Ravens was worse than pathetic. Were did the Pats fire and spirit go? Was it really just the determination of Tedy and Troy and Rodney and Vrabel that made this team great? I didn't think it was possible for the Pats to come out more flat than they were against the G-spots in the Super Bowl, but they proved me wrong with that embarrassing circus against Baltimore. BB gave a great pre-game speech for the Super Bowl against the Panthers. Guess he doesn't do that anymore. Maybe he farmed it out to Pees this year. "Hey Dean, can you say a few words to the guys? I have to trade away a few draft picks."

The Ravens are a worse team than the Jets. Flacco seems like he walked in from the set of a Frankenstein flick. All he's missing are the neck terminals. It's like somebody gave the guy a lobotomy during warm-ups. The Pats should have beaten the Ravens and could have taken the Chargers.

Now I have to root for the Jesters to beat the Colts or the Peyton ball washing will reach a new level of grotesque.
