I missed most of the game today as my boy had a soccer tournament.

I did catch a few plays though ... and it seemed that Brady's arm strength was very good today. I don't feel like waiting to see the game rerun. Did it appear that Brady had that ball humming harder than the last few weeks today? I've had broken ribs before ... I can't imagine trying to hum that ball with that problem. How Brady's even been playing is a testament to his courage and desire.

Thanks for the answers.

My best guess is that the bruised finger on his throwing hand is close to or completely healed up, same can be said about the ribs injury hes been dealing with too.

I can't speak on his arm strength but he looked good.

He put the ball where he needed to and they got the job done

I definitely didn't question anything he did or wish he could have done it better

I think the TD pass to Baker showed his arm strength is back to around 80-90%. He was also much more on target with his throws today, there weren't any passes going to phantom receivers (although their might have been a miscommunication on a ball thrown near Welker and Moss and almost picked by JAX) - however he looked like Brady of 2007 today for much of the game.

Good protection helped.

This is the right answer. Brady usually looks good or great when his protection holds up. The Jags pass rush is absolutely putrid which is why Brady looked God-like for a lot of the day.

That and an effectively called game on O that mixed in some solid running. Brady would have had a good game even against teams with a better pass rush. He didn't need the 7-8 seconds he got every play from the Jags, he could have made do with 4-6.

That's what effective running does. Pass every play and D's will pin their ears back on O-line. That will wear ANY line down.

It's in the play-calling. That said. Not a good pass rush on the Jags either.

Strengh looked good, but I noticed accuracy and confidence more.

everything was in tune. o line solid, receivers running good roots.
good mix of run and pass, correct decision making, te's even got in on the passing game, less predictable, Welker enormous again.

in summary. Everything worked well and there was a swagger in Bradys play, even avoiding the attempt on the lb's sack.

Lets hope this is the beginning of something beautiful

LOVED the protection and the time. I don't think it was any coincidence either that on either side was Matt Light (LT) and Sebastian Vollmer (RT) for the second straight week.

Loved that there wasn't a "soft" side to the O-line for a bullrush.

I know it was the second straight game these 2 have been the bookends but IMO this is what it needs to be going forward. Gel for one more game however long they play together and get ready for Wild Card weekend.

Also having Neal back helped provide depth on the line.

I thought his best play was when he ducked a blind-side rusher to step up and complete a crucial third down strike to WW to keep a drive alive.

I was amazed to see a bootleg, amazing. If he can roll from side it doesn't allow pass rushers to just tee off on him. Great game for Brady.
