I just think people are longing for the old days.

Remember back when the Pats would blow everybody out and they would be accused of running up the score? Those were also the days when patsfans.com would look at blowout victories and moan about the lack of tough, hard fought, 20-10 style wins in the old days.

A win against a below .500 team isn't as juicy as harping on about dogging it and locker room tension and losing control of the team...

Then again look at who some of the columnists that were cited and you have all you need to know about the reaction especially the "why".
