Just saw on Twitter that Fred Taylor just walked through the locker room with Mike Woicik. I think his return will be very sudden and will mean a lot in the coming months.

I'm excited to hopefully see Sammy out there this week. If this RB corps is full strength by January... oh GOODY!!

Fred Taylor walks thru locker room after workout. Does not stop for interview. Looks like he had just been thru rigorous session with strength coach Mike Woicik.

Yeah!

Our record could have been very different if we had Taylor and Morris there. Cant wait until he gets back so show Maroney how to run hard.

I can't complain about Maroney's running of late, honestly. But having these guys in there to rotate and block and catch (Morris was getting to be a nice Faulk-esque surprise receiver) will be awesome.

I'm glad he has Woicik to work with. Nothing better than a guy with six rings, on a team with 20 names on this weeks injury list.

Woicik is the one that should be getting the unsung hero award this year.

The thing with Maroney is that he picks and chooses when to run hard it seems. The first half last week he didn't, second half he turned it up. You never know with him. You know Taylor will always hit the hole hard and the same goes for Morris.

i can't help but think back to September when we had five rb's occupying precious roster spots. A short-term sacrifice for a long-term benefit. when other team's rb's are starting to get beat up and worn out, that's when we'll be freshest at the position . Both rookies and other backs that carry the load for their teams (MJD, AP, etc) are going to feel it, while we're relishing it.

I just want to point out that a MOD altered my thread title to be spelled WRONG and de-capitalize some of the words. WTF? Don't you guys have more important crap to do?

BTW, I fixed it.

Oh come on guy, this is just an atrocious post. Any player with that attitude would not last five minutes with BB.

Power mad mods love to eff with us mere mortals.

I just want to have Taylor there for the playoffs. Maybe a couple reg season games towards the end just to get him up to speed. But IMO he is our best runner (although I am happy with Maroney and Morris's performance this season overall) and he's our best bet in January to take the pressure off Brady and protect those leads we have been blowing.

the only thing you should be surprised about is that they didn't spell check and correct your title sooner.

Oh so you didn't notice Maroney visibly running different after half time? And Moss doesnt take plays off either? Stop trolling and actually add something useful

No, the record would not have been very different. Morris played in the Denver loss, and Maroney was not the reason for the loss to the Colts.

Just getting a post in about FRED before this completely devolves into yet another Maroney debate...

Soooo....

:woohoo:

Very encouraging news. I'd be REALLY surprised to see him in for the Saints, but nonetheless, this is a great sign that he's going to be ready to go when they'll likely need him the most...the playoffs! Can't wait to see him out there again! :singing:

Who is trolling?
This thread is about Fred Taylor and you talk about Maroney, you lead the way off line. I'm finished discussing it with you here, its pointless. And I thought you would understand the little bit of education I gave you which was this.

Was he in a wheelchair or have reports of his demise been greatly exaggerated?

If we had Taylor and Morris we could have run the ball on 3rd down on that last drive in Indy. Don't put words in my mouth, I never said it was on Maroney

You have never seen a Pats player never give 100%? How long have you been a Pats fan?
