Fred Taylor makes a locker room appearance

Wait, wasn't this a thread for Fred Taylor?

I absolutely am because he has been a bust as a 1st round pick. He's fragile, doesnt run north/south, cant hold onto the ball. He doesnt "get it" and he will never "get it". But you're an apologist for him and he's the best in the league

Now this just proves your ignorance.

Power mad mods love to eff with us mere mortals.

Is this really all you guys have?! Im really tired of the same arguments he wasn't a top 10 pick that flopped like you guys make him out to be. He was selected 21st thats nearly 2nd round Lets focus on what you don't like about his game and why you think that doesn't help the pats. And how he should improve it if you really "get it"

cant hold onto the ball.

in 504 attempts he has 3 fumbles........ somebody please get him some stickum

He doesnt "get it" and he will never "get it". and he's the best in the league

And let me guess you "get it" Who said he was the best? please site the thread because I know its a lie. You would think lawrence maroney was the number 2 pick and hasn't had a 1000 yards rushing or receiving yet... O wait thats actually another running back who gets waayyy more support from his fans and he was selected in the top 3 No need for me to write his name. This is really ridiculous given maroney's marked improvements over the last three and please dont give me stats because if your actually a fan and watch our squad the adjustments he's made at the LOS are much more important than the extra ticks on the stat sheet. Our run blocking as well as our loyalty to the run game leave much to be desired but when they do a good job lomo is effective and bruises defenders.

I don't understand how a mod can correct a title yet let the very thread that was corrected get high jacked by the Maroneybaloneyians and threaten to turn it into another unnecessary Maroney Marathon.

Oh so you didn't notice Maroney visibly running different after half time? And Moss doesnt take plays off either? Stop trolling and actually add something useful

This is grand irony, ladies and gents.

Apparently, some people didn't think there was enough Maroney bashing on here yet.

This thread is a great example of why the practice squad came to be.....

Taylor returning can only be a good thing, however, if he went on IR tomorrow, we would still be in good shape heading into the home stretch of the regular season.

Nice job, Wax Frog!

It'll be nice getting Taylor back before the playoffs. I suspect it'd take a game or two to get into the swing... hope I'm wrong.

This is true but IMO it would be huge to have him back for the playoffs. Check his career stats vs. Indy

As of today Taylor is already listed as 'Out' against the Saints. With this being still 48 hours before the game, it sounds like Fred still has quite a ways to go before being ready to play again.

,no one even slightly expected him to play this game

I suspect he will get a few reps next week at practice and see how he feels. I expect him back for the Bills game at the latest.

Stop embarrassing yourself would you. It's a real concern when posters invent mistruths to appear like the know something other posters don't.

He isnt fragile? He doesnt run east/west? He hasnt started getting butterfingers?

embarrassing you try to defend him

Nice job, Wax Frog!

Thanks - I suppose pop-culture refs are just nature's way of compensating for my lack of football-talk fodder

Taylor is amazing, this is good news I expect him back in three weeks if he was going through a tough strength workout already. I base that on nothing, of course.

I have been one of the biggest Maroney-haters on this board, but his last five games he has been a different player. He's dropped a couple, yes, but he has also had a very positive influence since he became more decisive, started dancing downhill rather than side-to-side, and began smashing into defenders rather than letting them get the jump on him. I am very happy with his improvements this season.

Oh I'm sorry, 3 fumbles in a tad over 500 or so carries butterfingers is it? Adrian Peterson has 17 fumbles in a tad over 800 attempts.
