This is exactly what makes Peyton Manning the Greatest QB of all time......the fact that he wins consistently without the neccessary ingredients to win consistently.
Yeah, it's not like he had a Hall of Fame RB, a Hall of Fame LT, a Hall of Fame WR and one of the most productive rushers in history in Edgerrin James to help him out with all this "winning" stuff.
I could very well argue that the sole reason Manning has a title is because his team finally carried him. His 3 TD 7 INT performance in the 06 playoffs wasn't really "Greatest QB of All Time" worthy.
He is one of the greats, no question about that. But he has always had elite offensive talent surrounding him. Don't make it sound like he's always had to do everything by himself to lead the Colts to victory. That's not accurate.
Brady has done more with less, in terms of winning. If, following your logic, that's the only criteria to determine the G.O.A.T he should be number one, not Manning.
