Are they still piping in crowd noise too?
And will probably tamper with the Coach-QB helmet communications like last year.

Wayne threw a pass to Garcon, which was picked. Regarding penalties, would you prefer refs not call off-sides & false starts? Sounds like you guys are preparing your excuses for next week.
Nice to see a Pats fan show a little objectivity about the Colts.
The Colts are winning. They're winning big, they're winning ugly, they're winning with injuries. We've done the same thing in the past, and crowed about our ability to overcome injuries, win when not at our best, etc. We shouldn't demean the Colts for doing the same thing. Until someone beats them, they and NO deserve top billing. They're more consistent than we are right now.
They're 8-0 right now and we're 6-2. We blew at least one game we had put away. They haven't blown any yet. Now we go to Indy on the road, and we had better be better than we were this week if we want to get out with a "W".
I think we're a more complete team and that Indy is vulnerable. But they were vulnerable to Houston too, and Houston couldn't execute. We didn't execute particularly well today.
Bring our A game (or very close to it) and I think the Pats win 24-14, or something like that. Bring anything less and I think we lose. And we'd better find a way to pressure Manning and beat him up the way we used to, and not play "BBDB".
JMHO, as a 40 year Pats fan.

It's really frustrating watching Colts games, how in the hell can they get away with so many penalties? Why wasn't there a roughing the passer penalty called when Session, I believe, picked off Schaub? You can clearly see Schaub getting whacked in the head by a Colts player as he tried to get rid of the ball. And where was the flag for the Colts player as he held the player on the ground, slapping at the ball after the whistle, while the Texans were trying to get to the line? WTF is wrong with these damned refs in that god aweful sh!t hole of a stadium? The only ref crew that wasn't afraid to call penalties against them was Hochuli's crew. Maybe they were fined after the game and a memo was issued to all other crews.
A couple of things.
- Houston have been a Jeckyl and Hyde team this year.
- Even with the Texans lacking execution, they were a missed 42 yard field goal from bringing the Colts to overtime after outplaying the Colts in the second half.
I've already commented enough on the Colts schedule, what if's, etc. I don't want to talk about that anymore. Injured secondary or not, the Colts still have Freeney and Mathis and we're still going to have to worry about blocking them. The Patriots still have Brandon Meriweather and Jerod Mayo and the Colts are still going to have to worry about Meriweather patrolling the defensive backfield and having to block Mayo and the rest of the Pats' DL. Each side has weapons.
I just hope that all of the Colts fans that have been showing up here for the past couple of weeks and making it seem like the Pats shouldn't even bother showing up are going to be willing to come back here and congratulate the Pats should they lose.
Excuses started already? Even the most stupid of people realizes 8-0 is better than 6-2 and despite a soft schedule, all the Colts can do is win their games. What's with all this "almost" stuff? Last time I checked, 8-0 is 8-0. Means nothing in the grand scheme of things but the Colts haven't LOST. No almosts in that.
New England lost to Denver and the Jets. Indianapolis has won all of its games. Its clear who has been the better team so far.
That being said... with half the secondary on crutches I dont anticipate a Colts win next week.
Neither the Patriots nor the Colts have beaten a quality, physical team yet. The Colts have beaten everyone they've faced, however, which is all you can ask of them. I'd expect them to be favored at home, and the Patriots had better play a damn sight better than they did today if they want to win that game.
You guys want to play the woulda, coulda, shoulda game? If you want to include the 4-4 Ravens, can I include the 4-4 Jets & 4-4 Jaguars?
PS: Cards were 1-1 at the time. And before you go there, you're not allowed to talk up the Ravens for beating the Chiefs & Browns.

we did play the Jets, Ravens and Broncos (with the middle team handing the last team's only loss)
Of course they were. So what? Close doesn't count. We were a missed Ghost 40 yard FG from putting Denver away, but didn't execute.
We've won close ones (Buffalo) and blown close ones. Indy hasn't blown any yet.
Give them credit. Then, when we hopefully beat them next week, it will be all the more satisfying. If we don't win, we have nothing to complain about regarding their schedule, near escapes, or anything else. And if we beat them, all that other stuff won't matter.
Either way, it's us vs. Indy for AFC bragging rights. Feels about right to me.
