OT: Richard Seymour's time of the month

When he watches Russell back there, I have to believe he NOW must realize how good he had it here in New England with Brady. When people said it's not like this everywhere in the league, he probably laughed. "It's just a business" when you're winning 80% of your games and going to the playoffs nearly every year...When you go 2-14 and know your season is over by Halloween, it can't be enjoyable..

It sucked to see him go, but it used to irk me a bit when he'd have that smug look on his face everytime he delived the "it's just a business" line. Well, it is a business and now he gets to tell himself that same old line every time his team loses another game. At least he's saving money on not having to get his driveway plowed this coming winter and having an extension put on his trophy case this year.

I really think Seymour's is trying to be a leader. I think Seymour knows the raiders are a joke. He knew that last week too when he made his playoff prediction. His motive was to try to motivate the rest of the team to keep trying to get better as a team and build off their win against Philly. This week he is saying how bad they are just because they lost 38-0. He knows that performance as a team was not acceptable. I just can't believe people take what he says seriously. It's all talk and he probaly is just saying these things hoping it will have a positive effect for the rest of the team.
