I though that it would be interesting to do a little survey to see what kind of age demographics we have among posters.

This poll will not be a public poll so no one, including the mods, will be able to see how you answered. Naturally if you want to post your age so everyone can see than that is fine too.

Also, not to get into and war of the generations, I wonder if there are different expectations for the Patriots depending on your age.

I've been a fan since 1970 and although I now expect them to win every game when the game is played, I can remember hoping to win or having no expectations of a win was normal. I only hoped for one SB victory during my lifetime.

I think it's an interesting poll.....as it says a lot about what people have seen as Patriot fans...I really do think there is a different perspective by those older fans than with those way younger... many of whom have only basically seen the Patriots under Kraft's management. But I agree there is a large perspective differential.

Your poll will also skew a bit based on the age groups most likely to frequent an internet message board.

29 in 2 weeks

Three months later and I would have had to pick the 50-60 category

My experiences pretty much mirror yours. Fan since late 60s and for most of my life, a single superbowl was all I asked for.

Now I'm greedy and want more

I'm young so I'm lucky. I came in with Bledsoe and Troy Brown. The 'lean' years for me were under Pete Carroll and Bobby Grier and hell those times weren't bad in comparison to some of the real lows that older fans have gone through.

and for most of my life, a single superbowl was all I asked for.

Now I'm greedy and want more

That's so my mother's POV.

I'm 59 and saw them play at fenway Park and B.U..................I can't express how the Patriots reign, over the last decade, has improved my life. When fans from other cities say"Why can't we be like the Patriots?"..............It just makes me feel so proud.

i'm 39 but will be 40 soon enough

Good poll. I am interested to know some basic demographic of my fellow posters: age, profession, etc

I'm 23. I don't expect the Pats to win every game. While I enjoyed 07, I think it's more fun to be the underdog and that's one of the reasons I became a Pats fan as a kid (plus my dad's side is from RI).

Pimping the 20-30 age group here. I like to think I show wisdom beyond my years though.

I always wondered what the age demographics were here. Earley on its about 45% for 30 an under about what it thought. Im 55 an don't feel a day over fifty.

What an KontradictioN there.

On that note... I'm 29 turning 30 in January.

Thank you for not including 70 plus in your poll. Some forum

members would accuse me of being senile because of remarks

I have made in this forum.

There's 60+ in the poll.

I turn 50 in November. Didn't vote in the poll because I didn't know if I belonged in the "40-50" or the "50-60" age group.

Been a Pats fan since the 1970s.

29 years old here. Let's fact it, ever since Kraft bought this team, the organization has changed, and I think it is the type of change wherein the Patriots will be fielding generally competitive teams for a very long time...even after Brady-Belichick.

I'm 45 and (happily) surprised to see so many of us "old" folks on here!

would've been nicer if you did 5 year increments.

Or if he did 20-29, 30-30, 40-49. That way my aged body of 42 years wouldn't be group in the "-50" group

- edit, I see I could have picked 30-40 or 40-50 but picked the latter :bricks:
