Just a pet peeve of mine that everything prior to 1970 for some reason seems to no longer count in the minds of so many fans and members of the media today. Somewhat ironic that fans talk about how many "Lombardi's" a team has won, yet at the same time completely discount his accomplishments and the teams he coached.

The way there is so much talk about Super Bowls won, Super Bowl appearances, Super Bowl records, etc., it's as if everything prior to then has less meaning than an exhibition - excuse me - preseason game.

Again, not trying to antagonize you or attack you personally. Just seems like we've been brainwashed by all this Super Bowl hype; greatest ever should go back to day one, not Super Bowl I in my opinion.
