lol the lions should do that!!!

a bunch of UDFA`s could easily loose 16 games in a season and itd be much cheaper!

Actually, on the subject of the Lions - the NFL should partner with the UFL... the crappiest of teams would be relegated to the UFL and the UFL's "finest" would be boosted to the NFL. NO way Matt Millen's of the world last 50 years in that kinda system !

Couple of former Pats went to Orlando: Wiggins and Chas Gessner.

My nephews little league works like that. Each league A, B & C has 10 teams. The two worst teams in league A play in league B the next year. The two best in B play in A. The two worst in B play in C, and the two best in C play in B.

His team has bounced every year either from A to B or B to A for the past seveal.

i read it on pft. no, I am not gonna get a link to prove it, cause i really don't give a crap if anyone beleives it or not and don't feel like hunting it down.

I don't feel like hunting down the actual text of the CBA, but that's what it says; min. salaries remain in effect, but there's no floor (or cap).

This astronaut has Kevin O'connel playing in NY ... what a dope.

Starting QB - UFL (United Football League) Access Forums

This thread is to discuss the possible players from NFC/AFC EAST teams that could end up as a New York QB

My Pick - I know this is a stretch, but Kevin O'Connell of the New England Patriots sounds like a good idea. He was a 3rd string QB last year but with Cassell gone he might be 2nd. He would make a great starter in the UFL and he has an amazing cannon arm, not to mention accuracy. Play him in New York and he may be back in the NFL, as a starter.

Danny Baugher, our former All-World punter, went to the Las Vegas team.

It's sort of disconcerting that these teams are drafting between 3 - 4 RBs and OLs each. This isn't Arena Football played outdoors on the gridiron is it?

It's normal 11-on-11 football with standard rules (though probably closer to NCAA than NFL). They also only took about 20 guys each. They're allocating other players (like Losman, Rattay, etc.) and inviting a host of others to camp. This was just the 'priority draft.'

I think.
