I have recently learned of a plugin coming (not currently available) that will make the board "Ipod & Iphone friendly" and want to get a feel for how many people actually have one. This is not a thread to debate Apple, Iphones, Ipods, etc. Just simply click the appropriate box if you do/don't have one.

I'm asking because there is a cost associated with the license to install it, and if enough of you have one and it's worth doing, I'll go ahead when the time comes and add it. I have an Ipod Touch, so count me as the first person that would take advantage of this

That would be awesome.

That would be a killer feature for the upcoming season. I'll even pledge to upgrade my membership/donate to make it happen.

I would LOVE to have an iPhone friendly app for this board!!! I think the iPhone overtook the Razor as one of the most used cellphones, so it would make a lot of sense to hop on the bandwagon.

I have 3 iPhones in the house.

I do not currently have one, but I need to replace my cell phone. When I do, later this year, it will be an iPhone.

love the iPhone, sometimes I can't get enough of it

I've spent the last few years trying every "IPhone killer" because I had Verizon and they had the best network blah blah.

I tried the Treo, a few LG phones, a Samsung and then a Blackberry Storm. They were all pretty bad; the Storm was ok but could be slow and annoying.

I bit the bullet, switched to AT&T and LOVE the IPhone. AT&T's network is actually better in my area, and I travel back and forth from Western to Eastern mass for work, no issues. I've lost maybe 5 calls this week, and they were all Verizon users that dropped the call.

Good, be sure to post to the poll so I can get an accurate count. From what I've seen the features will make it quite user friendly, and make it easier to read. For me on the Itouch it renders fine in Safari, but this appears like it will make it quicker and easier to browse posts, check pm's, etc.

So I'm looking forward to being able to test it, and as I said please be sure that all of you post to the poll. To answer the other question (why aren't you supporting blackberry's etc.?) what they're putting together is Iphone specific - I'm not playing favorites

The Iphone is the greatest thing invented since Cialas. Pure 100% tech nerd bliss... and still easy enough for us cool people to use.

I agree...except for the fact that mine doesn't ring and interrupt what I'm doing

But being able to check e-mail, Tweet, all from this little device is amazing. Granted I have to be within wifi distance to use it, but I'll be getting an Iphone as soon as my contract is up. Using this thing convinced me, although the fact it's no longer $499 certainly helps

I'm in with the iPhone. Looks like I need to hit the VIP club to help out with the costs. It's time anyway.

As an iphone user who religiously checks the site with it I would MUCH appreciate it. Look forward to it if it happens!

If you're getting a new contract with AT&T... I'm pretty sure you can walk out of there with the Phone and 2yr plan for like $212. I think it's the 8gb model too.

That's what I've been thinking. I love the Ipod Touch I have (got it for free with points) and the only complaint I have is not being to access e-mail, etc. when I'm on the road. So to be able to get one now for around $200 makes more sense...so when the contract expires in September I may finally upgrade to one.

Mobile Safari is a fully functionable and capable browser sans Flash. I wouldnt mind a iPhone friendly version as long as it doesnt strip features and gives us an option to view normally. (check WEEI's iPhone friendly site, it blows, it feeds 2 articles to you per category without being able to browse through previous articles and doesnt have an option to view it as if it were through a normal browser)

This would be GREAT. I have an iPhone an would really appreciate the plugin.
