Billdog's 2 Round Mock Draft

Amen my Brother! I have always considered Woods and Redd as having a low ceiling, but higher than JAG's.

Crable on the other hand, has shown playmaking ability in college and some in the last preseason. You can't teach play making but all teams desire it, especially if the play maker does not hurt you in other areas.
When the Pats drafted Crable, I thought he could grow into a play maker on the outside.

I do think that after a year with Woicik, he will be bigger and stronger, but he will always have a narrow base.

i dont know if you guys remember him, but Crable reminds me a lot like George Martin. Martin was a DE but always was in the thick of things and made an extraordinary amount of big plays in huge spots. I just see so much of Martin in Crable---lacks the elite physical tools but just has "it"

The same Martin that played for the Giants? Didn't he flatten Montana with a nasty hit in the playoffs one year?

haha i know what play you're talking about, that was Leonard Marshall.

Bruised Montana's sternum and put him out of the game in an epic 15-13 win in the NFCCG. Classic battle. I was rooting for the niners at the time, and it hurt.

So George Martin was the ILB for the Giants from SC State? A tackling machine, spent a lot of his career covering for a freelancing Taylor? Is that the guy you are talking about?

no, george martin was a DE. He was a guy that always seemed to score touchdowns and be at the right place at the right time. His most famous play was an interception of John Elway where after scrambling 60 yards or so for a TD he was tackled in the end zone by Lawrence Taylor.

YouTube - Greatest Play In Giants History

edit: obviously, looking at the title of this, it is not the greatest play in giants history. if it was i would have vomitted all over my computer
