Dolphins

Larry English OLB/DE thought that this was a little early- but Tunadrafts who he wants.
Evander Hood DE/DT The type of pick that should scare all PatsFans
Duke Robinson OG I thought this might be a 1/2 rd. early, now I am not convinced that this wouldn't be a good fit.
Mike Mickens CB Love it.
Sabastian Vollmer OT
I'd have to say this was fair value.

Overall a very good facimile of what the Tuna might do. It certainly looks like a Tuna draft board.

Ravens

Darrius Heyward-Bey WR
Phil Loadholt OG
Andre Brown RB
Bradley Fletcher CB/FS

D H-B might be slightly high (JMO). Love the other picks as "Ozzie: type picks.

OK. Here are mine so far:

San Francisco 49ers
10) - Mark Sanchez QB USC
43) - Aaron Maybin OLB Penn St
74) -Michael Hamlin S
111) - Austin Collie WR BYU

Washington Redskins
13) - Robert Ayers DE Tennessee
80) -Juaquin Iglesias WR Oklahoma

New York Jets
17) - Jeremy Maclin WR Missouri
52) - Josh Freeman QB Kansas State
76) - Andy Levitre OG Oregon St

Have at it.
I would say the Jets should be extremely happy with that draft, but I would guess they would still have more boos than cheers from their fans.

Yeah, I didn't even notice that until I put that together. The other thing that caught my attention was (a) the number of USC players (not just linebackers), and (b) the number of players from non-powerhouse schools. Obviously every year there are a few schools that get represented, such as Richmond and Liberty this year. But what I am referring to is the number of guys from Wake Forest, Vanderbilt and San Jose State - and the relative lack of players from Miami, Florida State and Michigan.

Edit: the other thing that jumped out at me was how very, very long Carolina and Dallas have to wait before they get a pick. When you do an exercise like that (putting those picks in order) it's a real eye-opener to see how many players are picked, and how far they are behind the other teams without that first round draft choice.

All good points! I have really enjoyed it too from the standpoint that I think I have a better feeling of how the draft flows and where other teams with similar needs pick in relation to the Patriots. I really cannot wait until Saturday!

Time to consider making Kevin Faulk 33's pick for him (unless we have a volunteer to take his teams over). It's mid afternoon in Italy now and he hasn't checked in.

Raiders picks so far:

7) - Michael Oher OT Mississippi
40) - Hakeem Nicks WR North Carolina
71) -Lawrence Sidbury DE Richmond

I'd go best available DT/ DB/ Interior O-Line

Go for it!

Ryan Mouton cb Hawaii ? We know Al loves speed....

sorry i beat ya to it lol well it doesn't look like there's hope of finishing this round any time soon, so I don't know if it makes sense to start a 5th round with very little chance of finishing it before Saturday's draft. What do you guys think?

Let's see where we stand at the end of the round. Yesterday was a little disappointing, with the picks coming in slower than the previous day.

I also would say we should put a two-hour time limit on any pick, and at that point whomever is online make the pick for that team in order to keep this draft moving.

By the way, here are the number of picks per day and cumulative total:
4/12 - 4 (4)
4/13 - 8 (12)
4/14 - 19 (31)
4/15 - 9 (40) - last pick made at 10 am
4/16 - 11 (51) - no picks from noon to 11 pm
4/17 - 12 (63) - no picks from 8 am to 3 pm
4/18 - 11 (74) - no picks from 3 pm to 7:30; none after 8 pm
4/19 - 16 (90) - no picks for 5 hours in the afternoon
4/20 - 20 (110) - one pick for 5 hours in the evening
4/21 - 15 (125) - one pick for 4 hours mid-day and zero evening picks

If we eliminate that one long stretch of no picks that seems to occur every day, I can see us getting in 30-40 picks in a day. That would be a full round per day, rather than the current pace of three days per round. My vote is to give that a try and see how it goes.

done

now where's VJCPatrtiot?
Shall we talk about the Colts' pick?
They've taken a DT, OT and WR; I think their next biggest need is a RB; Rhodes is gone and Addai was banged up last year. If not RB, then a 4-3 OLB or another 4-3 DT. I have Javon Ringer of Michigan State as the next ranked RB; any other nominations?

I totally agree with Ringer but hoped he would slide

That would be my vote just to keep things moving. I like the two hour limit as if I was busy and someone made my pick I really would not be that upset as we are just keeping things moving. We all know we cannot be on here all the time so lets just keep this moving with the few of us that are one at any one time??

Alright then, I just had the Colts take Ringer; RobDude and the Panthers are on the clock.

Alright then, I just had the Colts take Ringer; RobDude and the Panthers are on the clock.

So we give him til 2:30?
