New 2009 NFL Mock Draft Game Discussion Thread

Ok GM's online send me your choices by PM on who the Chiefs should draft its getting very close to the deadline.

I am ready to select right after so I should not send you any picks as I might lose my first rounder next year for tampering:enranged:

I thought Flozelle Adams and Leonard Davis needed some company so he will fit right in with the Cowboys line.

I love big Herm and I think he will fit their system nicely.

Tuned at at 10am to make my pick -- but Gomez hadn't selected yet. Tuned in again at 11 am and still no Gomez. Need someone to pm my picks to next time -- should the Vermont woods demand my attention.

And Namath -- thanks for waiting.

Sent my list to broadwayjoe and CanadianPat'sFan

Ok GM's I would like to start gathering your PM's in case we have to make the Bengals selection. So let me know what you think. Might as well get an early start.

Dont worry I'm here (Sorry for the delay)

Jags don't trust Garrard and need help at WR like always so....seemed like a best athlete available two birds one stone type of deal. I'm happy anyway.

Ok Gm's send me your thoughts on the Packers selection. Whiza has not been here in a while and I don't want to slow up the draft now.

I wish I read this thread, I've been around the past two days

I'm here to make the pick for Houston.

Sent my choices via PM to VJCPatriot

Done. The Bills, amongst many other needs, are really short of good O Linemen. Of course, the Peters trade points to their taking an OT in the first round, but I think they could do with two in this draft.

Sir Gomezcat- you made my selection easier as I was debating the merits of Urbik vs. Levitre for this pick. I was leaning toward Levitre just because I think that he might have more upside, but Urbik is such a mauler... He also has a great name for an interior linemen (not that such things should matter). So far it is all offense, all weekend long for Jets. You would think that Ryan will wish for more D picks, but if you look at their talent right now I think that they nee some players to keep the D off the field (and in terms of value, that is where the value has been whenever they've picked).
I was also debating on Hamlin vs Chip Vaughn w/ my earlier selection for the Niner's. This was also made easier by the selection of Vaughn before me. I personally think that Hamlin has been overlooked somewhat by this board. The kid can play. I was actually looking for the safety the Niners didn't take to slip to the Jets but obviously that didn't happen.

With LT poised for possible decline and the Chargers likely not wanting to franchise Sproles again next year, getting a possible future starter at RB in Green gives some much needed insurance for the Chargers running game.

I think this is the steel of this years draft. I need a power runner as well in Philly but Wells did not fall to 21. I reached to take Jennings in the middle of the second but if Green had have sliped all the way to 85 I would have kicked myself in the butt. You made me feel a lot better for reaching for Jennings but Green is a steel IMO.

TY. I wasn't sure Green was going to make it to the Chargers, but when he did, he just provided too much value to pass up. Jennings is also an excellent prospect that I like. He has very good hands as a RB and that will make him a valuable player for the Eagles.
