It's easy, and only takes a few moments.NFL Draft Scout has Stintim's short shuttle at 4.40 and his 3-cone at 7.37. Those are pretty poor numbers for an OLB (they aren't even that good for an ILB). They are just about average for a DE and he is too small to play DE.
6'3"Sintim is a good lb. Solid rd 2 guy. Height is not quite with Pats norm for edge rusher. I believe Sintim is 6'1. Speed is less than the other rushers.
What I don't know is if he can play inside in 3/4 defense. His overall size ftis better as an ilb.Known for a motor.

I was looking to try him inside, but the more I read and compare, I think he's just an emergency OLB draft pick for me.
Mind you I'm forced to work off his draftnik profiles because I only watched him in the Clemson game and the Senior Bowl. When I was addressing the ILB Starter question in another thread, I posted comparisons of various LBs both ILB and OLB who I thought could move inside. Sintim's profile when laid out beside the others gave me a different perspective: they noted he struggled getting off TE blocks, which isn't a good thing when I was thinking he'd be capable of taking on OL inside. Most of the kids struggle with OL and hand use, but a four year starter at 3-4 OLB shouldn't be carrying that tag.I am also thinking of him as an ILB. What are your concerns there??

I'm waiting to see if he gets mentioned in NFL.com's Pro Day blog, he's got the production and minimum profile size to be worth a look - I unfortunately never got to see him in a game.Yeah, we've got to remember that UVA's defense didn't exactly shut down the ACC. I saw Sintim get blocked a few too many times for my taste. While I think he might be worth an SILB conversion, that seems to arise from a lack of thumpers at the position this year (Maualuga, Brinkley, ?).
Box, what say you about Daniel Holtzclaw? I know nothing other than what I've read here:
Lawrence Sidbury, Jr.*|*Richmond,*DE*:*2009 NFL Draft Scout Player Profile
I didn't feel like starting a new thread for this, but Sintim looked like a man tonight (granted it was against mostly backups). He was getting to the QB on almost every play. Interesting the Giants want to convert him from OLB to DE (rare when going from college to the pros). It really plays into his strength. I wanted the Pats to draft this guy at 23, but it looks like the Giants got a steal.
He looked pretty decent, yes, but the Giants are converting him to DE, because he lacks the open-field fluidity for linebacker--at least the kind of linebacker that NE plays.
Ironic, though, that Barwin, Sintim, and Brown all recorded sacks in their first preseason game. Doesn't help with the rehab.
