If this happens, I think they send LoMo packing on draft day..............
No mind blowing source but - it's not tomase either
F. Taylor likely to choose New England - Projo Pats Blog
"After visiting both the Patriots and Bills over the past few days, it is believed that free agent running back Fred Taylor will sign with New England."

I think the cap hit is too big if they let him go, likely one of the other backs goes if they need a spot.
Actually, I didn't mean to sound skeptical. I just wanted to mention it so we weren't inundated by "what's the source" posts.I just want to say -- I understand your skepticism since there's no 'source' attached, but the ProJo mandated lastt year that we cannot use the term 'according to a source' in our stories. It's not a rule that I agree with, but it is a rule I have to abide by.
Please believe, however, that I would not have posted the item if I did not truly believe in my source.

It would only be a $340K cap hit if we traded Maroney.I think the cap hit is too big if they let him go, likely one of the other backs goes if they need a spot.

BelichickFan -- I hear you...it's just the whole "no source" thing is very frustrating in a business where the first thing a source says is "this is off the record."
And I don't have a great bead on Cassel yet...wish I could tell you more!!
Wow. I'm SUPER SURE I posted in this thread. Odd.
Anyway, there can be no greater compliment than having BB call you "nifty".
Fred Taylor is made of glass.
