I have no idea. That's the thing about losing someone's trust - you can never fully get it back. Just like if my wife cheated on me, I'd never fully trust her again.

I understand the point you guys are making, but your willingness to go so wildly over-the-top discredits you more than anything, imo.

You know, I know - and I suspect everyone here knows - that regardless of how one feels about Tomase and all that Herald nonsense, regardless of how extreme on one side or the other you sit on, it's patently absurd to now declare that you're not sure if he just MADE UP those Wilfork quotes about negotiations with the Patriots. You're being willfully obstinate. And you're hijacking a perfectly good thread which bodes very well for the Patriots and their fans, and which carries extremely exciting off-season news.

Let's all - myself included - get back on track, shall we?

Well while they're extending his contract, maybe they can extend his uniform to something not so tight and revealing as well.

Just kidding. Great news here. Wilfork is the second most valuable person on the team besides Brady (BB doesn't count being the coach).

I'm extremely encouraged by Wilfork's comments. He sounds genuinely enthusiastic, like it really means something to him, about signing in N.E. long-term. Good stuff, BIG deal.

I get the feeling that the Patriots already have a deal in place for Cassel. I think the Patriots are just reassuring Wilfork that a deal will be done soon.
