Superbowl Discussion Thread

You know, I really don't care. I just want another Super Bowl, and we are not going to win another one until we get our defense back on track.

In what areas? Secondary or pass rush?

At least we don't play S**tsburgh in the regular season this year.

At least we won't have a week of Kurt Warner's theological perspective about God being personally obsessed with his success at a child's game.

Well, at least the glass is half full - the Giants are no longer SB champs. We have to put up with Steeler fans now, but it will be much easier to take.

It will be interesting to see how many of them register to try and come in here and gloat.

Kurt Warner is overated I will say that and he is no Hall of famer also..

I'm not a big fan of his but he did put them in position to win. Their defense let them down at the end of the game. How do you let them go 80 yards when the SB is on the line.

Warner played a great game. He made one bad throw.

Sorry quoted the wrong post.

"interesting" in the sense of "May you live in interesting times"

lost some respect for troy palomolou for his constant whinning all night.

steelers got TWO SB wins with help from the refs against two teams that didnt belong in the SB.

that was a worse attempt at defense with the SB on the line than last year, and warner might kill him self. afterall his INT was the differance, i seriously cant believe they just won the ******* SB like that.

isnt the rule that if your arm is making a moving motion that its a pass? even if there is no pass? his arm was moving at the slightest, and they *****ed out and didnt call it.

I can't wait till the 40's Superbowls are over. Every one of them has been terrible for Pats Fans.

Who was the poster here who was obsessed with Rodgers-Cromartie? God, he is absolutely terrible. Thank god we took Mayo.

A nit wit I work with still blames Brady for last year's loss and not the defense.

Brady was hurt, Neal got hurt, Faulk got hurt, and the touchdown drive was the product of a helmet catch. It was nobody's fault, although it was the offense that failed the team by getting its lowest output of the season.

DRC is going to be great, he definately wasn't on that last drive. He was a deer in headlights on RT 93. I agree, he cost them that football game on that last drive.

Good point. He can cover, but he can't tackle.

He can't catch either. He had two chances for interceptions in the first half and missed both of them. The Cardinals secondary is weak (Roderick Hood and Aaron Francisco are both pretty bad), but he looked very poor for a guy who is supposedly a superstar athlete.

I think that guy got banned. I remember him.

Man, what a game...I am just glad it wasn't a 90's blowout.

So basically.

Ben Roethlisberger = 2 rings

Entire Manning family = 2 rings

Hmm.
