anyone want to contribute thoughts on how these two teams
match up?

NE 21st Pass O against SD 32 Pass D
NE 17th Rush O against SD 18th Rush D

SD 9th Pass O against NE 8th Pass D
SD 21th Rush O against NE 20th Rush D

from the numbers its seems
SD's big strength has been it's pass offense. With their two top WRs
hurting, Jackson and Chambers, their Pass O may not be as good.
I guess they will turn to Gates more. I'm hoping the rookie Mayo will
distrupt Gates at times.

I'm going to assume LT's toe will not be a factor. So if PATs can keep
LTs numbers down, both in passing and rushing, I think SD's Offense will
not be as good as it needs to be to beat the PATs.

On offense I see Cassel continuing to improve. With Merriman out and it looks like Tucker
will be limited even if he does play, I don't think Matt will get as as much pressure as last week.

If he continues to spread the ball around he should keep the chains moving.
I see PATs running game still being effective even without Jordan.

anything else?
PATS Oline vs SD's Dline?
SD's Oline vs PATs Dline?
are the trenches about even here?

Jamal Williams is an animal and I worry about him having a great game and playing a big part in shutting down the run forcing Cassel to go to pass - Thats the worst case scenerio that could happen
