Based on 0 years in med school, and high school biology and countless hours watching Discovery Channel/TLC/Natl Geo medical related shows it doesn't look good. He was lying there moving his body and the leg was still as a log...

Again based on all the creditations mentioned above I would say he's torn ligaments in his knee and could be done...

If you have it on replay watch it and observe his whole body move and quirm and the leg just lays still.
