Re: OT: expect more manning ball washing

I hear Cassel is on the market

Well, look at it: Manning's thrown two pick-6s, Cassel none. Cassel didn't give up a safety when he was backed up at his own 1. Clearly, this season, Cassel's outplaying Manning.

jags had 26 mins of possesion time in the second half!

I love that quote.....save that one. Cassel's outplaying Manning. The truth is we are only in week 3....this is a long season. I'm not giving up on our Pats after today, no way. Even Peyton Manning is having a rough start, doesn't mean we won't see him and the Colts in the postseason. None of these teams are the same as last year. Every team starts fresh, with new guys and new coaches. They are all new teams. Don't throw the season away after today.

i threw it away two weeks ago, the only thing i have to root for now is the fall of indy and the other teams i hate

The broncos are 3-0.I still think their defense is horrible. We get them on our home field.

Re: OT: expect more manning ball washing

The Colts are just 1-2. Maybe they should look to trade Manning for a quarterback who can win.

Nah. Dungy is nothing without Manning.

Oh wait....

And that is digusting right there. And the jags offense outside the running game SUCKS.

Sure I put some blame on Manning earlier in the game but he came back and won it. We left them too much time.......

Our D cannot stop the Jags O with a minute left?

Heartbreaking loss. Going to be a long struggle this year.

all TEN needs to do is split with Indy and that division is theirs. What a classic game in Indy. Manning was crazy good on that last drive. David Garrard almost let his team down with the terrible playcalling throughout the game. Anyway, a heartbreaking loss for the Colts. I'd rather get blown out like the Pats did than lose like IND did on a last second 50 yder. Talk about getting your heart ripped out! Nice finish to the afternoon though.

He did.

Our defense. Did you watch the game in the second half?

Pathetic we cannot stop the run, or even slow it down.

I feel awful because we had the win and then let it go.

1.) I was using Manning to illustrate the folly of people screaming about Cassel

2.) The Indianapolis Mannings lost

ICSB,

Are you finally willing to conceed that I may have been right from the beginning? I looked at the Colts from the preseason as a good, but not great team this year. They may still pull out 10 wins, but it is doubtful there is much more. They are probably more likely to get 8-9 wins than 11-12 unless they fix their defense.

Well, it is a make up from last week since that was a game that the Colts had no right to win, but did anyway.

No not giving up. Just will be a horrible bye week.

I think like you said the defense has issues again. They were on the field for 41 freaking minutes. Bad tackling is the big part.

If an AFC team does not get it going again and pull a Giants of last year we will see the Cowboys or Eagles cruise to a SB victory.

But, seriously the refs sucked today. I normally do not complain but we stopped the Jags on that last drive and then a bull **** PI call. And that pick six Manning threw while Marvin was being mugged.

And no Rob your preseason predictions thus far look like hell so you are the last one to talk.

A lot of teams do not deserve to win but do. But, you get more points and you win.

I wish we somehow ran the clock down better though at the end.... We rushed for the TD.

They're still working on the sound system at the Lucas Oil Stadium or whatever they call it................

I did predict the Colts and Jags to play better than they appear to be. The Jags look to be about 5-7 games worse than I predicted and the Colts look to be about 1-3 games worse than I predicted. I guess if I predicted the Titans to walk away with the division, I would have been on the money. Sorry, I didn't think they would have gotten rid of Vince Young so quickly or I might have had them winning the division. So I guess you are right there.

Wow, should have seen me and my dog when Josh Scobee nailed that last second FG.

That was a virtuoso of Del Ro's philosophy. Run the ball, stop the run. If David Garrard can get back to managing the game well, the Jags may be able to rebound. Only time will tell. We have bye soon, and have at least two winnable games ahead.

The Colts GM is the one who wants that rule emphasized. You can't very well complain when the officials do exactly what NaPolian has decreed they do.
