Well I suppose someone here needs to stand up for Poz. I must admit, the kid is not flashy, not in the least. But name me a Patriot Defender who is? I went to school with Poz so I know better then most what kind of "person" he is. Take away all his athletic ability, and you still have one of the greatest people I have ever met. The kid will do anything for the good of his team, he will do anything for his teammates, and he will always work harder then anyone else on the field. He came into PSU as a 2 star recruit. A no-name who no one wanted, and he quietly worked his ass off.
Listen, Poz will never have Hawk's athletic ability or 40 time, but you will not find a smarter football player or harder worker. He has played both OLB in a 4-3 and an ILB in a 3-4. If you asked him to play long snapper he would go out and do that too. Moral of the sotry is that on draft day I don't want glitz and glamour, I want a smart, ambitious kid who will put his team before his ego and you will find none better then Poz.
When Hawk played Poz in 2005 for basically the Big 10 championship in the biggest game of the year for the two of them. Everyone all year spoke of how great Hawk was, but somehow this kid named Paul kept leading the Big 10 in tackles, but never once made any highlight reals. So this game was supposed to be OSU bringing PSU back down to Earth with their better team and better Defense. Hawk had 9 tackles and Poz had 14 with 1 sack. And yet at the end of the game they interviewed Hawk and asked him about his gf Quinn's sister. And this is why Poz would be a perfect Patriot, because he only wants to play football and win for his team, he is the consummate blue collar professional who plays hard and plays right and could care less about how he is viewed by the media.
