I go with Harper. IMO the only reason he hasn't gotten the attention is because he's been sitting on the PS. Hopefully this changes this week.

Whatever happened to this guy? Talent doesn't just disappear. Does it?

Playbook complexity? attitude? who knows.... FWIW, BB threw a few good words about him in the presser today.

I went with Harper but that was based on how impressive he was during the preseason. I can't tell you how many times I thought that this would be the moment Dobson breaks out. I hope he does it would be fun to see.

Martin actually ran a pretty wide variety of routes (more than Amendola it seemed) so he seems more like an Edelman backup than Amendola.

We don't know much about Harper yet or the specifics of his game. There's a lot of nuances to our offense and you can't just say "oh he's a slot receiver" anymore.

Did Martin practice?

I went with Dobson. I saw him get behind defenders a few times in that Giants game. Something has to be there for the Pats to hang on to him so long.

I'd like it to be all of them. I think Martin is most likely. Harper seems to me to be next most likely if he gets the chances, but I think Dobson is more likely to get the chances although I think he's less likely to do as much with them.

People betting on Dobson.

I voted for Martin however *IF* any of them becomes efficient I will be happy.

I'll go with Harper, he has showed the most, promise imo.

Belichick on Aaron Dobson: "Big thing for him is he's been healthy...I know it doesn't always show up on Sundays, but he's had a good year."

Regarding Harper, can anyone name a player that came off our team's practice midway through a season and contributed a lot? I am almost sure it has happened but I cannot remember which player. Someone please correct me.

1111 (Lucky post I hope)

I think Dobson in NY (giants) or Pittsburgh would be catching a lot of passes. We have a deficiency in the long ball, not discussing if it is necessary or not, overrated or not, I agree we have a system that works in favor or our QB, but Id like to see a little more effort or investment in this area. Lafell is bringing this to our game to some point but It would be ok to have a young guy in a rookie contract as another option.

You think Brady is incapable of getting the long ball to Dobson?
