It's easy, and only takes a few moments.and or Rivers as well....or maybe even Brian Jones...It really makes Thomas to possibly be an importabt cog in teh machine..if when his foot is OK...and Spach?? another who may be important...that we re-sign Kyle Brady for next year, on a reduced terms one year deal? The depth of TE's in the draft is shocking this year, and he offers familiarity to the Pats system. It would also allow the Pats to use their first four draft picks wisely.

The Pats are known to cut older players and not bringing them back because they can use that roster spot on a new player with potential. That's what they should really do.
Which player have they spotted with potential then?
Thats the question:
A decent replacement for Brady can be found in Brad Kottam, a 6'8", 270 pound TE from Tennessee. He runs in the 4.8 range and is a good effort blocker.
Besides from having good size, his strength is really in the passing game. He is suspect as a blocker. If we're going to draft Kyle Brady's replacement that person's strength better be in blocking. I'm looking at Martellus Bennett or Craig Stevens and kellen davis in later rounds.
