Add "In season games called like tonite's" to my list
In all fairness BB had asked for the refs to call everything per the new points of emphasis
Now, did he do this to teach his players"
Or to create a huge fan outcry?
And finally, there were lots of pre-season normal stupid REAL infractions tonite as well
Pats game had 21 accepted penalties. Just heard on ESPN that saints game had 32 penalties!!!! Jeff Saturday said makes games hard to watch. Good every analyst should be saying this to get the NFL to change things before it's too late

If I don't stop it will be because my shuddering made me drop the remote where I can't get it.If a Jerry Jones bought the Patriots.
Couldn't believe one of them called out Peyton Manning regarding all the penalties towards the end of the game. Specifically the 05 playoff loss against the Pats and The Seahawks win this year. Big time kudos whoever was brave enough to do that on live tv. Anyone know which one it was?
If Goodell came to my house and raped me on non consecutive occasions I might scale back my viewing to just Pats games.

Just before 0300, you posted this ~ imbibed a few Fizzy Lifting Drinks, did ya??
Illegal contact penalties are way up this preseason, the result of the league office telling officials to monitor defensive backs closely and throw flags with impunity. That will continue in the regular season.
“We’re not going to change how we’re calling the games once the regular-season starts,’’ NFL V.P. of officiating Dean Blandino told The MMQB.
The reason those calls are asking why something isn't a penalty is because you see a sequence like in the Patriots game on Friday where a receiver is barely touched and it's flagged. Then a few plays later a WR and CB are running 30 yards downfield and there's lots of contact with no flag. So the question becomes, "why isn't that a penalty?" Nobody want MORE penalties, Dean, they want to know why your employees aren't being consistent."Plus, I would say that between 70 and 75 percent of the calls I've gotten from teams after their games this preseason are asking the question, Why weren't there more calls? I had a call today from a team with seven questions, and six were, Why wasn't a foul called on this play?"
I love this part of this story:
