If Coleman or Bud Melvin grab and INT tonight this board will go nuts.Agreed, that would be best.
Unlikely though.
You don't think Ridley, Cassilas, and Browner have any compensatory value?Including predicted compensatory picks, I believe our picks are as follows:
1st (Stolen)
2nd
3rd
3rd (Compensatory -Revis)
4th
5th To Texans (K. Martin)
6th From Texans (KMartin)
6th To Bears (Bostic)
6th (Compensatory -Wilfork)
6th (Compensatory - Vereen)
6th (Compensatory - Ayers)
7th From Texans (Mallett)
7th
Thats 10 picks still. Not all of them are making the team.

There contracts are smaller than the other 4, and you are only allowed 4 per league rules.O

I was thinking the same but it seems just bad decisions and bad luck with CB FA's too....
- Brown
- Fletcher
- Roberts
- McClain
- Cox
- Chekwa
In BB I trust...that he makes a trade soon. I know he will fix this.
EDIT: and everyone likes to mention trading picks....but it's entirely possible that a player may be involved as well or instead.
IC thanks for explaining I wasn't aware of the 4 pick rule.A team can't have more than 4 compensatory picks so no. And Browner was cancelled out by the signing of Jabaal Sheard.

2016 Compensatory Draft Picks Update (9/5/2015) - Over the Cap
Neither bad decisions nor bad luck. When you choose to fill a position with s bevy of low cost options, you do so knowing most will flop. It may have been a bad decision to use that technique, but the Pats aren't exactly swimming in cap room for the CB position.
I suspect if there is a trade, it'll be a future 7th for someone 99% of the people here haven't even heard of. Or it'll be another waiver claim, FA type guy. But the odds of NE trading for a certain top 2 CB are very low. Considering the depth at safety, if Melvin pans out they may not make a move at all.
Sorry I disagree. Not sure how else you can spin it...going to IR on a season ending injury IS bad luck. It's certainly not good luck. And Fletcher was torched in Philly just like he was with the Pats.
However I do agree with you about the bad technique...which could have been avoided when the Pats DID have the cap room. Regardless...BB will find a way to fix this.
Someone goes on IR every year for every team. It may be bad "luck" in that it could have gone better, but it is to be expected at some point.
Very true regarding bad luck...unfortunately it stung us at CB more then once.
