Well said.I don't think it's ending but it's definitely on the downside. How much? Enough to be noticeable. Physical loss aside, I'm not sure he is 'all in' as much as he used to be. I'm not knocking that, as I think that is as much of the aging process as the physical aspect. In any case, I don't think that anyone will argue that 1) his best days are behind him, and 2) he isn't going to reverse the aging process of diminishing skills and abilities. Hopefully it's a more gradual slope than it seems to the OP.
