Richard said in one of his interviews during the off season that he didn't
want to come back unless he could be dominant again.
He played injured last year.

This is his second week back. Two weeks of practice now and I bet he was
in shape when he came off the PUP. So if he can be dominant as he use to be
what effect will it have one this game?

My guess is they will be able to rush only 4 and still get serious pressure on Manning. If Richard is his dominant self, Manning may be looking at a blanket on his receivers much of the day. :)
Then there is his effect on the run D. They won't be able to move Seymour
if he has his legs back.

Thoughts?

Only that I'm hopeful! A healthy Seymour generally warrants some help in protection leaving one of the other guys on D 1-on-1 or free. You can call it the Seymour Domino Effect.

I have watched the colts a bit this year and they love to run off the left tackle. This will be an important game for Sey. Plus, depending on who plays for Indy, Richard could play against a rook. I am excited about this matchup.

Who knows, the pats may play one down lineman again.

i always prefere the Pats on the field when also Seymour is in too

he is a great player, no doubt

let's hope he will play sunday at an high level

go # 93 !

I had heard during the washignton game that he was commanding double teams. That plus going up against Ugoh should translate into more defensive production for everyone. WE ALMOST shut out washington a decent team this year.

I was at the Skins game and while I did not focus on Big Sey, what I did see of his play was unremarkable. He was on the sideline more than on the field. That being said, I believe that the Skins game was simply a warmup practise for him to help adjust to game speed and situations in prep for the Colts game.

Actually Ugoh has been doing an excellent job. However, he is questionable to play and so Seymour may be going up against his backup.

I hope Seymour gets healthy and can play well again, because he's a good player. But after watching him last week, surely you guys don't expect much from him in the immediate future?

His backup, Charlie Johnson, played extensively last year, including most of the Super Bowl and dominated during that game. He starts slow, but as the game moves along he always gets better and better and is more than capable.
