I know it's a bit weird talking about the amazing Tom Brady after a day where he was, frankly, not particularly great. But that's the point. Yesterday was his worst day of the season from a passer rating standpoint.

But how many passes did he have that were dropped? I can think of a few right off the top of my head. After I re-watch the game, I'm sure more will come to mind. Yes, he made some bad throws (opening possession, missed Hernandez wide open on the right for a TD, etc.), but again, this represents Brady's worst game:

    24-40 (60.0%), 238 yds, 1 td, 1 int, 74.8 rating

That's not good by Brady's standards, but as a worst game of the year? It's incredible.

One day, Tom Brady will no longer be the QB of the New England Patriots, and we'll have to explain to our kids and grandkids just how great he was.

I was sayin that's why this team is geared up to win the superbowl. One part struggles and another steps up.

I'm concerned about the injuries. Our TE and WRs could not get separation.

Gronk, Welker, Lloyd, Edelman and Hernandez. That's a potent array of receivers.

I was hoping Shiancoe would show something, but I guess not.

My hope: Vereen is used more in the passing offense to take some pressure off Brady.

    Disable Jersey

Josh and TFB will need to target and look for "Ben" for that to happen. I hope they do.

10 division titles. Unequalled in NFL history.

We will be old farts someday and telling stories to grandkids about these days, and those before, when we shivered on metal bleachers that were half-filled, watching bad football, and worrying about whether the team would move to Hartford.

Kraft, Belichick, and Brady happened, and it made all the difference.

20-0 in the 2nd half of the last three season. That's ridiculously good.

    No Jersey Selected

What was amazing to me — and a stark contrast to so many other QBs — is how he corrected a reporter who asked him about the ugly win: "It was a GREAT win," he said. And he said it emphatically. There's the magic in a nutshell: he knew that the way the team won it, regardless of how he played (relative to his standards), is an important part of any success this team has moving forward.

Was I yelling at my TV because of TB on sun ..(Again)? Yes, a little. Is there anybody on this planet I want leading this team other than the AMAZING TB? Absolutely not. He is the man and I cherish every day I get to see him lead this team to history, SB"s or not.
