I don't wish injury on anyone, but I can't honestly say that I lament this one.

That is a huge loss for the Ravens. Even tho I am no fan of Suggs I wish no injury on a player(Except maybe Benard Pollard).
It will be interesting to watch whether or not the Ravens still pay him his salary this year.
Is that possible, I mean the guy was working out? I doubt that is a clause in his contract?
I hate Suggs as much as anyone, but I cannot take joy in a significant injury to anyone. Sorry to hear.
Ok, what I read was that he was playing basketball. If he hurt it in the course of working out for the team, that would be different.
The story I read on NFL.com states that he was doing drills: "Suggs was working out and doing drills in Arizona, which is his normal offseason plan. It's a huge blow for the pass-rush hungry Ravens, who will be without the reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year.",
the story is young though, so more might come out.
I'm willing to buy the NFL.com story for now. I'd read it from someone who was just a poster on another message board.
It really is too bad for him. This is an injury that can really hamper a player's speed even after recovery.

BTW, Jason LacCafora is reporting it now:
