Just heard on ESPN...torn achilies
That sux for them....good thing they drafted courtney upshaw.
No way you can replace suggs with a rookie..they can try..but won't really work
Damn, that's terrible. Best of luck to him in his recovery.
I hate Suggs as much as anyone, but I cannot take joy in a significant injury to anyone. Sorry to hear.
BTW, Jason LacCafora is reporting it now:
Terrell Suggs likely out for season with torn Achilles - NFL.com
Hate to give another team an excuse for losing, again!!!
Karma for Harbaugh running his mouth???
Dean Pees can't catch a break. He'll be serving as DC to his second consecutive declining squad as it is, and now he'll be without, arguably, his best player.
That is a huge loss for the Ravens. Even tho I am no fan of Suggs I wish no injury on a player(Except maybe Benard Pollard).
Its always a shame to see athletes injured, but especially so when it happens in their free time like this. He'll get a lot of unjustified grief from fans. Unfortunately, injuries in sports are inevitable.
It really is too bad for him. This is an injury that can really hamper a player's speed even after recovery.
It will be interesting to watch whether or not the Ravens still pay him his salary this year.
I don't wish injury on anyone, but I can't honestly say that I lament this one.
Too bad both for them and all of us who loves fotball. Although our game against them will be easier hes still alof of fun to watch all the other games. Lets hope he heals up well for next season.
Sorry to hear it, really good player, even if he is a d.ck.
That sucks man, I enjoy watching the guy play.
Oh no! I don't root for injuries to players or rejoice once they occur.
But, **** happens.
I watched fans from all over the NFL take lots of enjoyment when Brady went down for the year in 2008. I wont wish for an injury on anyone nor will I take pleasure in one. But I certainly don't feel bad for a player like Suggs or the Ravens fans.
That is a huge blow for the Ravens D. If either Ray Lewis or Ed Reed decline significantly, they could be in for a rough year. They need some of their young guys to step up.
Was Bernard Pollard involved in some way?
