Report: League considering 16 team playoff if games lost to pandemic

if he wins #2, this year, yeah reaching 3 or 4 is possible but id still expect that to be the max sb total over his career. If he wins 4 with enough prime years left id worry at that point and only then. He has a long long way to go before hes any kind of threat to goat status. The potential is there absolutely but odds are heavily against him matching Brady
The Pats were at or near the top of the AFC for pretty much all of Brady's career. It will be interesting to see how much staying power the Chiefs have as an elite NFL team with their cap situation that can help Mahomes win multiple titles.

If he gets 4 rings with the way he’s playing, I think there would at least be a fair argument there. Different eras etc etc but his stats in his prime will likely surpass Brady’s and I don’t see why he wouldn’t be very good for a long time.

Remember plenty of us were calling Tom the goat with 3 rings. Definitely with 4. It isn’t always simply “x has more rings than y”

6 over 4 would still be a big lead, and mahomes would have to put up MONSTER stats for a long time for enough of a statistical advantage to make up for Tom having 50% more rings. Remember the stats manning used to put up year in year out while tom put up very unspectacular stats his first 6 seasons, yet tom’s longevity gave tom the statistical advantage. Mahomes does more running than tom too so that would hurt his chances of lasting long enough for that.
