I'm on the list, and I, overall, have had success getting tickets to any game I've wanted during the past two seasons. This season was considerably harder to find ticket for certain games (Baltimore and Indy especially) but if you scour the TicketExchange enough, you'll definitely find tickets for pretty much any game. A good example is the upcoming division game. Tickets are available on the exchange, however, I've only seen about two pop up in the last 24 hours. A lot of factors go into each game (demand, opponent, weather, etc.) but I would definitely recommend getting on the wait list.
Thanks for the feedback.
Just two more follow-up questions:
1) During the single-game tickets pre-sale, do you find much success in getting seats to high profile games? Last year, during the general public sale, I was able to get just Standing Room Only when tickets went on sale to the general public. I really wanted seats, so I had to pay $250 for a pair of tix to the vikes game (last row of the upper deck).
2) You mentioned the ticketexchange. Not being a member of the list, I obviously don't have access to the tickets, however, how much more are ticket prices marked up on the ticketexchange? Or are they sold at facevalue?
Those of you on "The List",
Also, for those on "The List", I was thinking of joining just to ensure I get an earlier shot at regular season single-tickets, can anyone share their success in getting tickets to games they want... or am I better off trying to obtain tickets with the rest of the general public?
Thanks.
This year the pre-sell for regular season games for wait list members was a 3-game bundle with 1 of those games being a pre-season game...So, as long as you don't mind preseason or are willing to take a loss on those tickets it is worth it.
I can speak to my experience in 2007 getting tickets for the AFCCG.
Someone was kind enough to pass along the password for tix sold to waiting list members (folks, if you can do that again, my email is danastas 2000 at yahoo. com) and I got tix at face value in a really good section. I was quite happy.
I'm sure some tix opened up to the public later on.
When a friend later decided to come along, we found a single ticket directly behind our row on StubHub, and it cost at least 50%-100% more than the face value of the tickets bought from Ticketmaster a few days earlier.
Those of you on "The List", could you let the general public know how things went for you during your ticket sales window for the playoffs?
I was hoping to try my hand at getting tickets for the general public sale on Friday... but I'm not getting my hopes up.
