It would have to be a team like Jacksonville, Tennesee, Oakland, teams that dont seem to draw much at home... The Pats cant lose a home game, that would be idiotic...

NE and Miami for a preseason game would make sense for Miami.

London is not much further than California, The forth game is a joke anyway. It could be held on a friday at 9 pm which would make a 4 oclock start on the east coast.

The teams will then fly back and get in at about 5 in the morning local on Sat.

I is only 1 hour more of flight time than SD

The Thursday opener could be part of a doubleheader, one beginning at 6 p.m. Eastern time and the second at 9. p.m., NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said yesterday. He also said the league is still open to a game overseas for the 2006 season, perhaps in London's Wembley Stadium. The 2006 schedule will be disclosed in April, although some games, such as the opener, may be announced earlier.

in my opinion there could be a 'sold out' if there will be really an NFL game in London.

Fans will come from all Europe...Me included...

It says a lot about the transport system in London that I live in South East London (near Bromley) and it would take me a good hour to get there.

Road trip!!!

As I prepare to travel back to Foxboro from the Pro Bowl today - I think a London flight would be easy!

I would love such an opportunity to go to London and see the Pats.

It would have to be the other teams home game.
It would have to either be the Thursday 2nd game season opener or come with a bye week the following week.

I think it would be awesome....

The NFL has been forced to abandon the UK in NFLE. Bringing a real game to the UK would help restir interest, I suppose.

As regards the time and distance questions, this is little problem. Hopping a plane from Boston to London East, or LA West, is about the same time in the air. As far as broadcasting it would actually be beneficial. A 1:00 PM Sunday kickoff in London would be just right for "Sunday Night Football" in the USA.
