I'm shocked by this, he was my pound the table guy last year. When he was healthy he was the closest thing I have seen to Vince Wilfork in college football. Injuries dropped him from a potential top 15 pick to the 3rd round, then he spent last year on IR. So I'm not sure if this is injury or performance related.

I would love to pick him up but I am assuming he has some major issues so its not gonna happen.

Never understood the hype with this guy. His YouTube highlights made him look like the poor man's Ron Brace. I don't watch college football, so maybe I missed all the times he flashed, but I did not take it as a good sign that his fans/promoters couldn't put together a more impressive highlight package.

Cards will be cutting DE/OLB Matt Shaughnessy who visited the Pats last off season. I don;t see the Pats needing help in hos positions but he was in for a visit as a free agent before re-signing with the Cards. I think the injuries have slowed him down.

From discussions last year pre-draft: more of a move tight-end, replacing a hole in the Patriots roster, but not a great blocker. Over 1000 yards receiving his final year. Lot of injuries. Bounced around three schools.

Suspect they're looking at him as a fullback, which was where he was lining up in camp for the Broncos.

In light of the Louis Nix cut, another that started his draft cycle as a predicted first rounder, Cyril Richardson, was cut from the Bills. He eventually fell to the the 7th round.

Moral of the story? Don't pay too much attention to pre-season draft rankings.
