Very creative, Of course you will be torched by the rock star posters who run the Patriots organization on this forum for Bob, but it is a superb idea. It might cost us a pick on the lower end. But.......
I will now get torched. I am applying the lighter fluid as we speak but what if you could get Lofa Tatupu from the Hawks for our trouble? He had a torn pec last year and the kid Hawthorne from TCU they brought in to take his place they love. How does Tatupu and Mayo as your ILB pairing sound?Thoughts from my tormentors?
How about our #22 to Denver for Marshall as you suggest. Trade Marshall and our #53 2nd rounder for Tatupu and their #14. The reason is value. Don't know if the Hawks will give up the equivalent of an added 2nd round pick at #58 in theory (1,100 points for #14 versus 780 for #22. in theory #58 or a second round pick would be 320 points or that difference). Our #22 is worth 780 on the Draft Chart value board. Our #53 is worth 370 for a total of 1,050 (close enough). We have to be enticed to do this by the Hawks, hence Tatupu.
Summary:
Broncos get #22 in the first-The lose Marshall
Hawks keep their #6 away from the Broncos, get Marshall and get a second round pick #53-They lose #14 and Tatupu
Patriots get #14, and get ILB Tatupu-Patriots lose #22 and #53
The Draft value numbers at the end of the trade are 1,100 from Hawks and 1,050 from the Patriots (close enough). Keep in mind again the difference between #14 that we are getting and #22 is that of pick #58 in the second round. We are losing #53 or five spots difference for Tatupu.

P.S. This adds credibility to the Trade on Bob Kraft and BBs' part from the other owners. Everybody wins. Not just a mercenary exercise to help one Team and hurt the other by the Pats.
