LOL Joe "Cool"....

That's not quite what I hoped to hear to be honest... but I would think he said something in private to Tom. Hopefully.

I can picture Joe Montana and Don Shula in a retirement home some day beating each other with their canes over who took the last prune danish.

Who cares what anyone thinks. Over 300 Million people in the US and some of them are going to have their own(different) opinions. If (only) 10% are of a different mnd that's over 20 mil that don't agree with you. If it requires Joe to validate your thoughts and opinions, that's not on him.

Only person who should care is Brady. I'd be pissed if I surpassed my idol and he refused to recognize it.

Honest question: why would you think that?

I am sure that Montana any time he stepped on the field thought he was the best QB. And if he stepped on the field with Brady he still would. So what? Great champions have great confidence in their ability and Montana was a great champion and a great QB.

Why would I think he might have said something to Tom? Maybe I'm being naive but he strikes me as a private guy who would rather just do something like that without advertising it. A lot of guys are like that, like Richard Sherman.

I would hope he did anyway. He knows the comparisons are being made and I'm sure he knows Tom idolizes him.

Instead of "Joe Cool" his nickname is now "Cant Let Go Joe"

He knows goddamn well TB12 is the GOAT.

What a jerk.

The funniest part of all this is that he thinks the world needs his permission to take away GOAT status and give it to Brady. People are only asking him because they're curious if he'll finally recognize it, not because they're seeking permission. Makes him look stupid.

TB12 considers Montana his mentor, always complimenting him. Why can't Joe do the same? Look at what he said here:

Such excuse-making on Joe's part. TB has surpassed him by a country mile and he feels his legacy has been "intruded" or "infringed". Definition of butt-hurt.

Three reasons I don't care for Papa Johns
  • Peyton
  • Jerrah owns a bunch of them in Texas
  • Montana
The main reason is their pizzas taste like cardboard with ketchup and cheese food on top. If you've lived in New Haven (I have), New York, or spent much time in the north end of Boston, then you know what pizza is. It ain't that crap.

The hosts even pressed and asked Joe if he considered HIMSELF the #1 QB ever -- to which he replied:

"Even though people say it -- and I appreciate it -- I still can't say that about myself."

That's when Jennifer came through with this gem -- "At home you're saying that all the time!!"

Oops... Wifey didn't get the talking points. LMAO

Once cardboard was served to blind people who thought it was pancakes.

It simply doesn't make sense to me that he would say what he's said publicly, then compliment Brady privately. Let's be plain here. His public comments about Brady weren't neutral. They were critical and, to me at least, condescending.
