Did well tonight. Now, let's sign his partner.
Hobbs had some great returns. But the interference penalty he took where he didn't even turn to look at the ball. That one really hurts.
He was beaten all night long, as usual.
Hard nosed player, gutsy, but he looks good hitting the receiver AFTER he was beaten.. Give up too many yards when lined up at the corner and is constantly beaten, as he was tonight, on the out patterns.
Then if he moves up close, at the line, it takes ONE fake, and he is beaten, and trying to catch up...
As he was on the interference, and even on the good play he made on the long pass, but if the ball had not been underthrown, his cover was behind him, in the end zone.
What people fall for, with Hobbs, is after he has been beaten, and the receiver had the ball, he is a very hard hitter, and it makes him look like a better player than he actually is.
He is, as Phillip Rivers said, possibly the weakest starting corner in the NFL.
OK, all night long.

I don't understand that rule. A few years ago a Patriot LB made basically the same play against the Jets, he was running toward the receiver, didn't see the ball and it hit him in the back. Not flag. I don't know.Face guarding is not against the rules. It seemed to me that the ball was gonna bounce of Hobbs' back weather he bumped the Colt guy or not. Doesn't that make it an 'uncatchable ball?' I'm positive that PI wouldn't have been called if Hobbs never touched him and I don't see how Hobbs unfairly prevented the guy from catching it either since it would have never reached him.
