My hate for the Jets is now all encompassing.

I will now and forever hate that team and its fans with a level of anger boardering on insanity.

Other than our team completely destroying them on the field that day, more needs to be done. They tried to destroy the very fabric of our franchise and continue to do so through their media cronies and litigious fan base.

My desire at the very least is to create the most inhospitable environment for that team when they come here.

I want loud relentless booing and sideline razzing. I'm not too creative when it comes to being vindictive, but our presence needs to be felt and the planning and coordination needs to start early as so ALL fans in attendence will be in on the efforts well before.

I will note condone any violent or unlawful activity as that's beneath us. Leave that to the dregs that follow our competitors.

Let's get our collective genius together and consolidate a plan of action.:rocker:

I'd got with the Rats theme. R-A-T-S chants, a giant rat with a Jets helmet on it hanging from a pole, giant rat traps with fake dead rats in them, that sort of thing.

How about spiking their pre-game meal with laxative?

I agree, we need to make it as uncomfortable as possible for those a-holes. I will be there. Maybe once the game is out of reach we can start a special taunting chant for Tubby Ratfink.

To me this has become THE GAME of the year until the playoffs. And I agree the Jets should be bood, harassed, and made to feel as uncomfortable as possible. A contineous crescendo of r-a-t-s rats, rats, rats does sound appropriot.

Yeah, funny thing, when I look back through history, I felt the same way about the Dolphins, Bills, Colts, Steelers, Broncos, Panthers, Raiders, Chargers, Green Bay, Bears, to name a few.

And I had a laundry list of reasons for the hate.

And, yeah, I hate the Jets too.

I hated all those teams too for various reasons. But they were all competitive reasons for the most part.

    THIS IS DIFFERENT!!!!

This is someone slipping your sister some roofies, having their way with her an then putting the pictures on the internet or something.

It is destroying the reputation, credibility of every person associated with the Patriot franchise.

    IRREPARABLE.

Short of the Jets team plane crashing, I will roll around in glee when any ills befall that franchise from this day forward and make my glee publicly known.

They and many, but not all of their fans disgust me.

    In my mind.................THIS IS WAR!

That's a good one. The first thing to come to mind was that similar scene in Dumb and Dumber. I can just see Mangina running to the toilet and doing business only to find that the toilet doesn't work - and the Pats employee to break him the news - Matt Estrella.

As a Red Sox fan I remember how much the taunting of "1918" pissed us off coming from Yankee fans.

How about returning the favor and taunting them with "SIXTY NINE! SIXTY NINE!" to remind them what absolute losers their team has been in the past 38years. We have been a FAR superior team and I'd like that number to leave a bad taste in their mouths. (Pun certainly intended)

As fans, by all means boo/etc. the way you would for any team, but I wouldn't really spend so much energy hating the Jets & their fans--they're not really worthy of it. I think one of the funniest things is listening to Jets' fans or reading their fan boards, where most of their attention is focused on the Pats. I mean it's really comical. So let them obsess about us, the way bugs worries about those big feet that loom over head ready to crush them, but we'll just go on our way.

As they say, the Jets/Pats rivalry is like the rivalry between a hammer and a nail.

The laxative thing would get the TEAM suspended for the year and have all of our draft picks taken away. I guess it's funny in some juvenile way to imagine that, but the actual suggestion doesn't border on ridiculous, it likes there in ridiculous, it's the state capital.

Yes indeed...I have always found it quite amusing that Red Sox fans get all lathered up over the hated Yankess....when Yankee folk could really care less.

The Yankess always had more pressing matters - as in winning 26 World Championships.

Our New England Patriots are now in the same boat. Enjoy your infatuation with us Jet fans.....we have much more important details at hand..as in winning our fourth Championship in this decade, so far. Hell - looks like we may even give the 19-0 feat a go.

I suggest you wear a YANKEES SUCK t-shirt to a game next time the Red Sox play in NY, and walk around the parking lots chanting "Yan-kees suck" and see if they really could care less. Make sure your organ donor card is up to date.

If you think what we feel toward Jets fans is infatuation, you might want to re-look at your relationships with the opposite gender :D

    Or not.

Our seats are in section 304 row 24, but i am planning on making a big Jets logo with Rats substituted and hanging it on the fence at the top. I like the mousetrap idear too. Maybe I'll make one of those too. I'll post pics of what I make as the date grows closer. :eat3:

Red Sox fans don't know to act like winners.

Many New England Patriot fans do not dwell on pathetic fans from other teams.

Hating fans who boo their own quarterback when he's injured is fine I guess. The fans certainly deserve contempt. But IMHO, we, as patriot fans, should be about supporting our team, not attacking the dregs of the earth. Yes, we should act more like Yankee fans, who expect to win, and even when they don't win the division, rest their players for the playoffs. Yankee fans KNOW that they have a winning franchise, year after year, and don't care what other think. They act as if their team will win. Some day all patriot fans will have such confidence. We certainly have the team and the organization.

    just my 2 cents

I don't know...I mean there are for sure some bad apples in that organization. If they are all a-holes then I say treat them like **** when they come to foxboro. I am sure some of them are o.k. and hopefully they will be spared our wrath. All the other clowns deserve what they will get...

I never really took the RATS serious as they've always sucked. They are now in the same league (as far as detest) as the Steelers, Colts and Chargers..... the only difference is they are a losing franchise that poses no threat.

Why should I buy a clue? Your team was warned not to do this. The entire league was warned not to do this. The Jets tried to confiscate the tape, your cameraman refused to give it up. NFL security confiscated the team and the rest is history. Should the Jets just allow the Pats to continue cheating? Becuase Belichick gave Mangini his shot he should allow him to continue cheating? I don't understand, instead of you saying okay we screwed up, it's somehow the Jets fault that your coaching staff made a huge mistake which cost you a first round pick.

It's like getting caught cheating on your wife and yet your blaming it on everyone but yourself. I know it's a good defensive mechanism to try and blame it on someone else other then yourself but seriously EVERY team in the league was warned not to do this and the Patriots continued doing it. Whatever you want to say about the Jets it's still the Pats fault for being so stupid. And don't tell me they weren't really cheating, the rules say what they were doing was illegal and they would not have been doing it if they were not gaining something from it.

The RATS tried to confiscate the tape??....BS!

If anything The RATS started the altercation as they knew it would alert the league officials.

The HC of the NY RATS snitched. Spin it any way you want.....where I come from....you don't snitch!

This is great...now he's comparing stealing signals to cheating on your wife. WTF!

    Once a snitch....always a beatch.

Next thing ....the classless NY RAT fans who cheer when their own players get hurt will want to sue Pats message board users.

Seems to me BB apologized, has been punished (rather severely) by the NFL and the commissioner came out, confirmed the tapes were not used during a game, confiscated BB's library (unfairly INHO) and said it is now OVER.

Time to move on...we have, why can't you??

As for football......your team sucks, they have sucked for a really long time and after a ray of hope last year, you have returned to darkness for another half of decade it appears.

Let's look at your team: Offense: You have a QB, that is really good when healthy and is a great guy. It is too bad he cannot stay healthy. You have a couple of really good receivers and a decent, but certainly not that good running back. Your line is fair with no depth.
Defense: DB's suck (the only good one is on IR), your linebackers wouldn't even male our team and your D line is a joke. You have no depth. Special teams: You have a really good kick off returner, but so little depth, team wise that your personnel is really lacking talent or both your kick & return teams.

Let's look at New England: Can't stand to do it can you....yup, we ARE that good and we as fans, know it. We have one of, if not the best, owners, coaching staff, front office (led by Pioli) and of course head coach. Our QB is top three, I would not trade our group of RB's wit anyone, our WR's are as good as it gets. Our O line is solid with great depth. Defense: DB's - we are stacked with tremendous depth, our linebackers are as solid and experienced as there is and we have a couple of LB's that would start for any team in the NFL, best for last - our D line, show me more talent anywhere?? Special teams - we have a group of professional special teams veterans and upcoming players, our "teams" will be among the best this year in every single category.

Undeafeated, outside chance, sure - but highly unlikely, it's nearly impossible to even think about it. However, barring serious injury, this team will go on to have home field advantage throughout and will win it all, once again. Other than a couple of solid playoff challenges from most likely Indy & the other survivor - we will easly prevail this year. It is our time, once again.

SO, eat your heart out Jets fan, enjoy life with your turncoat, squealer coach and your miserable GM. Your owner deserves much better that what he is getting right now.
