The defense was playing lights out and Denver's offense was doing nothing. I would go with my stronger unit which clearly was the defense. 3 and out was likely and at most they would have gotten a FG. With needing 4 downs to score on the final drive I would want Brady knowing exactly what they needed. Plus if you get the three and out like they had been doing the whole 2nd half that sets the offense up around the 30-40 and only needing 20-30 yards for a shot at points. Its the better option in my mind and if I was the coach I would have chosen to kick. What belicheck would do is anybodies guess but IMO you put the game in the hands of your strongest unit and play the odds

Bill would have given them the ball because just like in New York 'it was the right thing to do'

I mean seriously how the hell do you take the ball out of Brady's hands? That's tantamount to treason.
As great as Brady is, our offense was struggling all game...especially at scoring TD's.

Would you rather ask Brady to orchestrate a tough ass drive 80 yards off the bat or allow your defense to stop Manning (which they had been doing constantly) and get the ball back only needing a FG. Not the easiest call.
