well..it DOES go back that far...Ian first had a board up when the Unofficial NEPats board was our main board...I posted at the globe too...I still got the bookmarks from back then somewhere...I ran Joker's Warzone, there was a site by a guy in Japan...musta been 20 or 30 fan boards back then...

I remember it was the first iteration of Patsfans which was called Ian Logue's Patsfans board that the terms 4 and 6 were first coined to refer to Rucci and Lane...there was this board thread called "Reasons Why Drew Will Never Win The Super Bowl"...reason 4 was Rucci and reason 6 was Lane...from that point on, I,and a whole slew of others, would only make reference to them as "4" or "6"....I think that was the last period in my life when I actually couldn't stand a Patriot player/s. Those two were walking ,breathing "defeated before the first snap" players inked to guaranteed contracts because they were Drewpy's two best friends. Ugh...I just made myself sick thinking about these two stiffs...sorry..:ugh:

I don't think I've ever seen a cut Brady thread, but I'm with you on most of the rest. Body language threads are the best- gotta love when people think they can psychoanalyze a guy based on his posture for the 2 seconds that he was on TV.

I really think he was a troll from another fanbase but his comments about being the 'best player on Madden in franchise mode' were classic.

As I recall there was a DoS attack here, and although this site survived the threads prior to that ended up being lost.

But I do also remember that once upon a time boston.com was probably one of the best, if not the best regional sports fan message boards anywhere in the US back when people were first starting to buy computers for personal use.

No schiesse?? Hell, I got my first PC in 1997, but I never knew Boards even EXISTED until 2003, when I stumbled and bumbled over them in SportingNews, where I was playing Salary Cap Fantasy FootBall for like the 4th year!! :bricks:
