How long can the Patriots offense be 1 dimensional once it gets cold and snowy?

I think that because the pats passing game is working at historical levels rit now, we miss the running game...

in reality we have one of the best running games in the NFL, we just score all our TD's by passing, which is wut i dont like, we need to start getting some runnning TD's

What does it matter if we run it in or throw it in? It's six points either way.

i dont know, balance is just a good thing, and in TD's, our balance is lacking...

if something comes up and we HAVE to rush for a TD, the players need to be confident they can do it

But we DO have a balanced offense - that's established. The only thing "unbalanced" about our offense is that WRs somewhat routinely rack up 20+ yard pass plays.

RBs are NEVER routinely going routinely break off 20 yard runs.

Would you feel better if our WRs didn't have such big plays? Because things would be more balanced then.

When it comes to goaline situations, Randy Moss is 6'4". Care to take a guess how tall most CBs are? Moss might as well be 7'4" given his height advantage... Brady can consistently put it where Moss and only Moss can pull in the TD pass.

Again, this is a bad thing why?

Come winter, yes, you're probably not going to see Brady putting the ball 40 yards downfield quite as much - but as far as goalline situations go, Brady shouldn't have too much of a problem sending the ball a whopping 10 yards to the 6' 4" Moss.

Technically I guess the entire team is one dimensional... all they do is win. And I don't find that to be the least bit alarming.

It matters if you repeatedly try to run it in and don't succeed.

through game 6 the running game is averaging, what, 142 yards a game?

What's that - 2200 yards for the season?

Is that really that bad?

It shouldn't make a big difference. They are used to it, and the turf will allow better route running. When I was a QB, I liked the bad weather better, because my WRs knew where they were going. The DBs were the ones more apt to slip up and allow a big play.

Good point, Dave, and the Snow Bowl was a good example of that. The DBs were falling down all night. Neither QB seemed bothered by the snow.
