Easley's explosion is back

What I'm still waiting from Chandler Jones that would make him into a significant pass rusher in this league, is the explosive bull rush. Too often, IMO, I still see him using that hesitation step move to try and get by OT's. For once I just want to see him just explode off the ball with a great first step and walk the OT back to the QB. Do that a few times and make the OT fear it, and he can THEN use those other moves
Respect. I have seen him go to a bull rush on occasions in games. He just lacked the strength for it to be effective. This is also why he does struggle at times setting the edge. There have been full stretches in games where the runs are going predominantly to his side. I'm certainly not suggesting he hasn't set the edge well before because he definitely has. He just has not always done it well consistently. Word is that he has added some size, and you would think with that comes added strength too, so maybe he becomes even better at it this season . . . along with a more effective bull rush. The problem with Jones is not necessarily ability, as much as it is consistency and health.

Me too.:)

A flip phone with "retro" spin dial or big push buttons would be absolutely hilarious.

If I had to guess Chandler Jones has his weight up to around 290-295lbs. When you look at him compared to JJ Watt they're isn't any size difference anymore. He is legit at 3-4 RDE now.

I don't know about 290, but he sure did look sick as a passing down DT. We can run some mean stunts with him in the middle. BB will find a way to have Jones, sheard, Easley, and Ninkovich go after the qb at the same time.

So now that we are seeing the front 7 shape up like this, how do we rate the front 7's in the AFC East?

And can any other division match that talent?
