Who cares? Their D gave up a lot of big plays last year and good offenses could put up points very quickly. Not the case this year.

The Broncos gave up 30 points or more in the regular season last year three times. If their defense was able to give up 14 points on the other teams' first two drives on a regular basis, wouldn't they have a lot of games giving up 30 or more points?

You are overstating how bad their defense was last year. They gave up a lot of points in garbage time last year. It was a middle of the pack defense. Probably in the 12-15 range. Not bad, but not great either.
