The sad thing is a bunch of unworthy quarterbacks in the next wave of QBs will end up surpassing Manning and Brady in the record books due to the absolutely ridiculous passing inflation of the current NFL.

Cam ****ing Newton was able to put 4000 yards in his rookie year.

that guy is about to fall off the face of the earth

Bad season is one thing. You can always rebound and improve on those. But the guys immaturity borders on a 12 year old kid. Hopefully he works those issues worked out.

Wow, did not take long for Newton's apple to fall...yuk..yuk..yuk..yuk..yuk

Seems like another fullback in quarterback's clothing. It is getting to look like running because they can turns out to be the worse thing most of these guys could do even if it gets some yards for them when they are struggling to find a passing game. Turns out to be more of a distraction than its worth I think. Fools the kid into thinkin' he is doin' somethin' when in fact all he is really doing is hastening the conclusion of his career.

Right now is in the top 5 TD passes... probably will not pass Favre or Manning, but stands a good chance at finishing at #3 or #4... not bad for a system QB...

1 Brett Favre 508

2 PEYTON MANNING 423

3 Dan Marino 420

4 Fran Tarkenton 342

5 TOM BRADY 321

6 DREW BREES 309

It won't happen. Even a guy like Matt Ryan, who's pretty good, won't come anywhere near those numbers. If anybody surpasses them, even in this passing friendly environment, it will be an elite passer. Just like Elway's and Marino's numbers were surpassed only by guys like Favre, Manning and Brady, no stiff will come close to the latter's success either.

I think Brady has earned his spot as one of the best QBs in Patriots history.

Stepping out on a limb with that comment. Be careful not to fully commit to it. :bricks:

Definitely one of the best.

It's nice to see the back-up is still keeping Drew Bledsoe's seat warm. When is Bledsoe coming back from the aorta injury? This system quarterback thing is getting a little old, don't you think? It's time to get back to chuck and duck.
