Disapointing after a strong game last night, hopefully it is nothing. From his agent's Twitter:

he looked real good on his sack. He pushed the olineman back like he was a WR trying to block him.

one of the few bright spot on defense last night (and there were VERY few). Let's hope it's minor, can't afford to lose another potential LDE.

    #91 Jersey

At least it's an ankle and not a knee

Unfortunately, an ankle can be just as bad or worse than a knee. Luckily, unless it is an Achilles tear, typically the prognosis is better.

    #87 Jersey

Man, I'm so tired of the injury bugs that hit this team every year.

If the injury is nothing and he's just day to day then he's gotta be the front runner at LDE. I know Gerrard Warren is the veteran but Brace is the only guy who has the potential to draw double teams, something they sorely miss from their DEs.

I think if it were an Achilles tear, he would have had more difficulty coming off the field and would have appeared to have been in severe pain, no?

Just guessing, as it's a terrible injury but I've never tore one of mine so I can't say I'm an expert on the subject.

    #54 Jersey

I'm hoping to see us use plenty of Jumbo fronts this year with him and G. Warren flanking Big Vince. Get well soon big man.

Amazing how quickly Brace has morphed from an out of shape bust into OMG! our DE is injured! status.

And I wasn't even done marveling over the idea of him lining up at DE to begin with!

Peculiar how two of the board's whipping boys, Brace & Wheatley, both seemed to be outplaying more highly-regarded players, and both ended up in the trainer's room. :(

Rap tweeted a while ago that he's hearing it's not thought to be serious.

That'll happen when your #1 DE is lost for the year and his replacement is getting pushed around like the 95 pound weakling on the beach.

I could do without RON BRACE's F-ing AGENT blabbing about injury possibilities.

I really hope he's back soon. He's missed a lot of practice time and we absolutely need him on the Dline. I think we'd be okay with Warren and Wright, but after what I've seen so far, I'd rather have Brace out there at DE over Wright on early downs.
